Get imprisoned for free download? (Approx.)

A few years ago to United Kingdom, a law was passed that criminalized possession of hacking tools. I think it is stupid, because many tools have legitimate uses. It seems an injustice if you had been imprisoned unless you really, knowingly, intentionally had done something wrong. Possession of hacking tools can throw you in two years in prison and use for ten years.

The news was filled with recent events involving Wikileaks and DDOS attacks by the anonymous group against those that it believes are conspiring against Wikileaks. They used a tool that is freely available on sourceforge.NET and is written in c# opensource.

Why is that I am mentioning it? Because if you come by in prison by having a copy of the low Earth orbit Ion Cannon, you'd probably denied access to visit the United States (committed an indictable offence... sorry you refused entry) even if it is not (AFAIK) a criminal offence, he possesses the United States!

Just repeat the point, while it is probably unlikely that anyone at the United Kingdom will get trapped, just to get the source code, just be aware that if you use, it does not hide your IP address and bad things can happen. 16 Years Netherlands (4th paragraph in the history of the New York Times) has been arrested.
